The BEPS Activity has a core technical team consisting of education generalists as well as specialists in research, teacher training, education policy, youth-at-risk, and human resources. Additionally, BEPS relies on a wide network of consultants that can be accessed to meet specific needs. For each statement of work received, the BEPS core team proposes staff and consultants with the technical background, language capability, and regional experience to perform the tasks. Missions, regional bureaus, and/or the HCD Office review proposals and develop task orders for short- or long-term assignments, which, subject to USAID's approval, are performed by BEPS staff and consultants in a flexible and responsible manner.
